Reiki in Singapore: no-touch Reiki for your home
Reiki is a gentle Japanese practice for relaxation and a sense of balance. Here it is always no-touch: on a home visit, Reiki is used to clear and settle each room, never on the body.
What is Reiki?
Reiki (霊気, often translated “spiritual energy”) is a Japanese practice developed by Mikao Usui (臼井甕男) in the early 1920s. A practitioner quietly channels Reiki with the intention of bringing calm and balance. Usui Reiki is taught in three levels:
- Level 1 (Shoden): self-practice.
- Level 2 (Okuden): adds distance Reiki.
- Level 3 (Shinpiden): the master level, which includes teaching.
Tan Yan Tong (陳衍通) is certified through all three levels as a Reiki Master.
Why no touch?
Many Reiki practitioners place their hands lightly on the body. We don’t. All Reiki here is no-touch and is used only for the spaces of your home. You and your family simply carry on as normal while each room is cleared and settled.
Reiki space clearing on a home visit
- Share your floor plan, the direction your main door faces and who lives in the home.
- On the visit, each room is cleared and settled with Reiki, usually together with a radiesthesia assessment.
- Each session takes 1–2 hours.
- Your written report is sent separately afterwards, room by room.
It suits a new home before you move in, or a home that feels unsettled.
In beta: home visits are not yet open for booking. Each session takes 1–2 hours, and your written report is sent separately afterwards.
What the research says
Reviews of Reiki studies find that people often report less stress and deeper relaxation, but most studies are small and not well controlled, and there is no reliable evidence that Reiki treats any medical condition. We offer Reiki as a calming, complementary practice for the home.
